Natural Cleft means the stone is split with a hammer and chisel to thickness after the initial cutting process. It presents natural characteristics.  This means the flagstone may contain subtle variations and fluctuations in face reveal and color appearance. Color appearance of the flagstone may vary.  Blue, gray, green, tan, rust and lilac can be found in all or some of the pieces.  Fluctuations and variations are what give natural stone its beauty.  Thickness may vary by ¼”.

Thermal flagstone is accomplished by taking a piece of a saw cut stone, wetting down the edges and heating it with a torch.  The stone has a smooth texture with a very consistent surface. There is no fluctuation in size. Color appearance may vary.  Blue, gray, green, tan, rust and lilac can be found in all or some of the pieces
