Portland, Mortar & Concrete
The most common use for Portland cement is in the production of concrete. Concrete is a composite material consisting of aggregate (gravel and sand), cement, and water.
Mortar is a blend of portland cement and hydrated Lime. It can be used in construction projects such as bricks, concrete blocks, stone walls, retaining walls, planters, pillars and tuck pointing mortar joints.
Mason Mix is a blend of portland cement, masonry cement and mason sand. It is stronger than mortar mix. Mason Mix is used for load bearing construction projects such as, walls, columns, bricks, stone veneers, belgian block, flagstone and tuck pointing mortar joints.
Concrete Mix is an equal blend of Portland, sand and gravel. It is used for setting posts, footings, sidewalks, curbs, floors, steps and patios.
Mortar Mix is a blend of masonry cement (portland and lime) and mason sand. Mortar Mix is used for non-load bearing construction projects such as construction and repair of bricks, blocks, stone walls, retaining walls, planters, pillars and tuck pointing mortar joints.
